"Utilizing
Monty's products and program on Fruit trees produces stronger,
healthier trees with higher yields and the added benefit of soil
enhancement for future crops".
Monty's Soil Conditioner Applications
based on need:
After soil testing, apply 64 to 128 ounces per acre in a
suggested 15 to 20 gallons of water, focusing on areas around
tree, from drip line in.
When Starting From Seed:
Pre-treat seed by soaking or spraying with a Monty's/Water
dilution of 8 to 16 ounces of Monty's 4-15-12 Green Label per
100 gallons of water. You can also drench the medium in which
the seeds are being started. This would be the same dilution
rate as previously mentioned.
Benefits:
- Earlier
root system vigor producing increased root surfaces
- Improves
root penetration and moisture extraction
- New
growth improvement
- Improved
resistance to chemicals and insect stress
First and Follow-Up Applications:
16 to 24 ounces of Monty's 8-16-8 Yellow Label per acre in a
suggested 15 to 20 gallons of water. This application should be
incorporated routinely into herbicidal, fungicidal, and
pesticide spray programs. (See Monty's / Herbicide Application
Recommendations)
These applications should be followed from early spring through
flowering stage.
Applications through Drip or Tape Irrigation:
Apply Monty's 8-16-8 Yellow Label at a rate of 8 to 16 ounces
per 100 gallons of water, on a minimum of bi-weekly feed basis.
Benefits:
- Better
utilization of soil nutrients, especially nitrogen, for
more balanced uptake
- Significantly
increases Cation exchange
- Assist
in absorption of pesticides and creates efficiencies among
translocation of nutrients.
- Increased
chlorophyll and moisture retention
- Increased
stress tolerance from wind and draught
Flowering Stage Applications:
16 to 24 ounces of Monty's 2-15-15 Orange Label per acre in a
suggested 15 to 20 gallons of water. This application should be
incorporated routinely into herbicidal, fungicidal, and
pesticide spray programs. (See Monty's / Herbicide Application
Recommendations)
These applications can be followed from the flowering stage
through harvest.

Monty's
Plant Food is a liquid fertilizer that is recommended as a
supplement to your current fertilizer program. It is best
applied to the seed or plant directly. Monty's is not
recommended to replace the nutrients typically added to the
soil. We suggest taking a soil sample and having a qualified
independent lab analyze the samples to determine the
nutrient levels in your soils and then follow recommended
applications to ensure proper nutritional levels.
Monty's products are
designed specifically for fertility enhancement purposes. When mixing with
other farm chemicals it is suggested to tank mix Monty's only after
diluting the pesticide according to label directions. When tank mixing any
Monty's products with other farm chemicals, always read and follow the
label directions of the pesticide you are considering.
Monty's fertility
products are compatible with many farm chemicals and may improve the
efficacy of some pesticide applications but Monty's does not guarantee it
to do so. Monty's suggests administering a jar test and a strip test
before applying Monty's as a tank mix. Knowing the chemical’s mode of
action (blocks photosynthesis) or metal content (copper based) will help
determine the compatibility with Monty's. Please call 1-800-978-6342 with
any questions.
Monty's fertility
products are recommended at a rate of 16-24 oz. per acre in a minimum of
15 gallons of water. For specific application directions or information
regarding irrigated crops, see your local dealer or call 800-978-6342 |
