After soil testing, apply 64 to 128 ounces per acre in a
suggested 15 to 20 gallons of water. This application can be
made early spring, prior to planting or late fall, after
harvest.
"Prior To" Planting Application:
Monty's 4-15-12 Seed Starter can be applied to the soil prior to
planting at a rate of 24 ounces per acre, if it is applied along
with 64 to 128 ounces of Liquid Carbon Soil Conditioner per acre
in a suggested 15 to 20 gallons of water.
BEST - "At" Planting Application:
If your planting equipment allows moisture to be applied to the
seed as it goes in the ground, apply Monty's 4-15-12 Seed
Starter at a rate of 24 ounces in 3 to 15 gallons of water.
Applied "To The Seed"
"Post" Planting Application:
Monty's 4-15-12 Seed Starter can also be applied at the rate of

applied with Liquid carbon Soil Conditioner.
Benefits:
- Faster
and higher percent of germination
- Earlier
root system vigor producing increased root surfaces
- Improves
root penetration and moisture extraction
- Stronger
plant emergence
- Improved
resistance to chemicals and insect stress
First Foliar Application:
16 to 24 ounces of Monty's 8-16-8 Growth Formula per acre in a

pesticide spray programs, to avoid an extra pass in the field.
(See Monty's / Herbicide Application Recommendations) Ideal time
for first application is fourth leaf stage.
Follow Up Applications prior to bloom stage to be determined by
crop need. A second foliar application may prove to be
beneficial.
Benefits:
- Better
utilization of soil nutrients, especially nitrogen, for more
balanced uptake
- Significantly
increases Action exchange
- Assist
in absorption of pesticides and creates efficiencies among
translocation of nutrients.
- Increased
chlorophyll and moisture retention
- Assures
better uptake of nutrients before Pegging begins
"Pegging" Stage Application:

Monty's
Plant Food is a liquid fertilizer that is recommended as a
supplement to your current fertilizer program. It is best
applied to the seed or plant directly. Monty's is not
recommended to replace the nutrients typically added to the
soil. We suggest taking a soil sample and having a qualified
independent lab analyze the samples to determine the
nutrient levels in your soils and then follow recommended
applications to ensure proper nutritional levels.
Monty's products are
designed specifically for fertility enhancement purposes. When mixing with
other farm chemicals it is suggested to tank mix Monty's only after
diluting the pesticide according to label directions. When tank mixing any
Monty's products with other farm chemicals, always read and follow the
label directions of the pesticide you are considering.
Monty's fertility
products are compatible with many farm chemicals and may improve the
efficacy of some pesticide applications but Monty's does not guarantee it
to do so. Monty's suggests administering a jar test and a strip test
before applying Monty's as a tank mix. Knowing the chemical’s mode of
action (blocks photosynthesis) or metal content (copper based) will help
determine the compatibility with Monty's. Please call 1-800-978-6342 with
any questions.
Monty's fertility
products are recommended at a rate of 16-24 oz. per acre in a minimum of
15 gallons of water. For specific application directions or information
regarding irrigated crops, see your local dealer or call 800-978-6342 |
