Monty’s Reputation Is GROWING!

This year farmer’s at Moultrie, GA are learning what other progressive farmers have known for years. If you want a great crop with lower input costs, you have to start with the roots; you have to start with Monty’s Liquid Fertilizer.

While Georgia was experiencing one of it’s wettest summers on record (30.37 inches 5/1-8/26), Monty’s treated crops kept producing improved soils, improved roots, and as a result, superior crops. Here’s just a sample of the results from the Sunbelt Ag Expo in our first of a three year trial program at that site.

COTTON
Monty’s 4-15-12 was applied at planting at a rate of 24 oz per acre.
Monty’s 8-16-8 was applied as a tank mix with the herbicide pass at 16 oz. per acre.
Monty’s 8-16-8 was applied ½ of the field and Monty’s 2-15-15 was applied to the remainder at early bloom stage at 16oz. per acre.
Monty’s Liquid Carbon was applied at 64 oz. per acre. Traditional fertilizer was applied at 300# per acre (1/2 the amount recommended)

PEANUTS

Monty’s 8-16-8 was applied ½ of the field and Monty’s 2-15-15 was applied to the remaining ½ at early bloom stage at 16oz. per acre.
Monty’s Liquid Carbon was applied at 64 oz. per acre.

Monty’s 8-16-8 was applied at SPRING GREEN-UP at a rate of 24 oz per acre.
Monty’s 8-16-8 was applied at 3” of re-growth after each cutting at 24oz. per acre.
Monty’s Liquid Carbon was applied at 64 oz. per acre.

Traditional fertilizer (Southern States 17-6-20) was applied at 300# per acre (1/2 the amount recommended) in spring.
