Michigan Ag Dealer has tremendous success with Monty's Plant Food on soybeans and corn

Ralph & Jason Fetch in Three Rivers, Michigan aren't only dealers of Monty's, but they are farmers using the liquid plant food on their crops. Jason met Monty's president Dennis Stephens at a distributor trade show in the fall of 2001 and decided to give Monty's a try on his farm.

In 2002, Jason said that he had applied the product on a 10 acre plot set apart from the rest of his forage acreage (5 acres of straight alfalfa and 5 acres of mixed)

He said after every cutting, he gave the new growth a week....then applied Monty's 8-16-8 at a rate of 16 ounces per acre. In 2001, those 10 acres yielded 66 round bails...... in 2002, the same 10 acres yielded 110 bails!

Below, Jason (left) stands in a corn field with Monty's Sales Representative Brent Rheinheimer (right). This field corn was planted June 23rd, this picture was taken August 28th. Jason indicates the ONLY fertilization this field received was 16 ounces of Monty's, applied with his herbicide.

Ralph Fetch said that this particular corn field typically doesn't produce like his others. That is just another reason he is surprised to see consistent 12' to 14' corn growing throughout.

Notice the volume of the ears (size and quantity) throughout the picture below. Several ears were inspected and colonels were present the full length of the cob. Ralph and Jason are anticipating one of this field's best yields ever.... and at a very minimal cost for fertilizer.

Brent Rheinheimer stands in a field of Soybeans that Ralph Fetch says are some of the best looking beans he has ever grown. This field received 16 ounces of Monty's (applied with Roundup). Not only are the plants more dense, greener, and taller; the bean pods have good size as well.

To make this picture even more impressive is that this field is an un-irrigated field and looks better than the irrigated fields within eyesight of these beans. Ralph and Jason noticed a major difference adding Monty's to their herbicide. The weeds died faster and more complete. You can see how clean this field is.
