Challenge: Stress Management in Corn and Soybeans
“I have noticed a difference in the way that my corn and soybeans have absorbed nutrients. The crop seems to be handling drought periods and stress better, a direct reflection on nutrient uptake. For example, in my soybean fields last season, even with temperatures into the nineties, my treated fields seem to be holding on to more blooms and setting more pods with better pod-fill. If somebody has thought about using it, I’d tell them “try it” at least on part of your farm this year.”

Challenge: Improve Forage Stand
"Springtime is busy. Between tending to my hay and calving, anything that offers efficiency is welcome. Last season, using Monty’s Liquid Plant Food, I was able to tank-mix my spring weed treatment with my fertilizer program, saving me a trip across the field. I didn’t have to take my cattle off of the pasture, saving me time and aggravation. Plus, I was able to save a little on my crop inputs. With Monty’s Liquid Plant Food as part of my grass management program I am not only saving money, I’m saving time." – Jimmy Mays, Cattle Farmer
Challenge: Crop Stress in Corn
“Early last season my corn crop was showing signs of stress. It was yellowing. It had low pH levels and it did not look healthy at all. By making an application of Monty’s 8-16-8 foliar plant food, I was very impressed with the way Monty’s helped my corn deal with stress. Normally, this variety will yield about 190-195 bushels per acre; with Monty’s, even during a stress period, I averaged 218 bushels per acre. Since then, I have seen similar results with alfalfa, green beans, and soybeans. Managing any type of stress by giving my crop a nutrient boost with Monty’s is generating excellent results for me. Last year could have been really bad but Monty’s pulled me through.” – Albert Stutzman, MI
Challenge: Quality
“I have been using the products for four years on corn, beans wheat, and alfalfa and they have performed extremely well. This year, for example, I just finished haying my alfalfa and pulled off some real good tonnage. Because of the cold, most of the fields around here are growing slow and beginning to turn purple. Last season, I had to supplement some of my own hay and I could really tell the difference. When I switched, my milk production fell by 20%. When I brought the Monty’s hay back, it instantly climbed back up. That tells me all I need to know about the quality of the hay and the quality of Monty’s Products.” –Rod Lea, Farmer and Dairyman, Wisconsin

Crop Stress Management
“I’ve spent quite a bit of time experimenting with Monty’s on my farm over the past four or five years. Everywhere I have used it, the crops have responded. Being able to manage nutrients with Monty’s this season has helped the crops handle the stress. In fact, I’d say they're probably handling the weather better than I am. Compared to other fields in the area, my crops are looking real good. Monty’s has helped me cut my operating costs and it has helped maintain or boost my yields even in less-than-ideal conditions.”
