Monty’s Plant Food welcomes Matt Woodring to the company’s sales team

 Monty’s Plant Food Co., a leader in natural soil enhancement and plant fertility products, has hired Matt Woodring as a Product Consultant for portions of Central Kentucky and Tennessee.

Woodring’s industry experience includes managing pasture land, row cropping, and raising cattle and hogs on his family farm.  He also has over 20 years in farm chemical sales. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University.

In addition to consulting with growers on Monty’s innovative plant and soil products, Woodring’s new responsibilities include educating growers and the public on the importance of soil health.

“We are very excited to have Matt as part of the team,” said Dennis Stephens, President of Monty’s Plant Food and a board member of Soil Renaissance. “As a product consultant for Central Kentucky and Tennessee, Matt has the knowledge and tools to assist the region’s growers in achieving higher yields and, therefore, more profits.”

In his spare time, Matt likes to kayak and hunt.
