Pictures of Crops: Treated and Untreated
State of Oregon, Fall 2003 - Fall 2004

Onions:

Monty’s treatments are the Yellow flags: pictures from OSU in Hermiston, OR Research Farm

From a Williamette Valley Field Comparison Trial: see data tables for results

Berry Crops

Sylvan Berry Trial:  See data tables for both trials

Harvesting Crop for data

Blue Berries

Different Blueberry fields, planted same time without & with Monty’s

A grower trial resulted in a 3-4% increase in harvest weight plus better brixs; data has not been submitted via the grower to date.

Grass Seed and Turf Trials

Fall seeding ‘03:

Stand establishment following spring ‘04, conventional program on left, Monty’s Seed Starter on right

Data results for above trial has not been made available from grower yet; an additional trial comparison was destroyed by wind.  Data from an independent researcher has been submitted to Monty’s Plant Food as they paid for the research.

Fall 04 Plug Trial

Using Monty’s enhanced root development by 10-14 days in these grass variety plugs for research plots at Pure Seed, Inc.  Note the root length on Monty’s plug (Grew outside of the tray and was drying up do to lack of water).

Turf:

Turf Plugs comparing conventional fertilizer program vs. a Monty’s program with reduced fertilizer rates. Grower uses a treatment of Seed Starter plus 2-3 Root/Blooms with less fertilizer and the elimination of a growth hormone called “Roots”.  Cost savings to the producer were over 50%.

Wheat Trial:

Picture on the left is untreated, conventional high fertility program; Monty’s treatment on the right is an add-on to the program.  Thickness of stand and general vigor was observed; yield results were lost due to a gas pipeline being laid through the Monty’s treated side of the field.

Clover Trial:

Early observations of this trial were showing strong root development and we also observed nodulation much deeper in the soil than is normal. No data was gained as grower inadvertently treated the field with a contaminated tank of herbicide that severely stunted the crop.

Turnips seed Trial:

Good top and root growth was observed early but as the field develops, grow is too high (6 ft. +) to observe and roots too deep to dig.  No data as grower’s yield monitor failed through harvest this season.

Tulips:

Tulips bulbs treated with Seed Starter in fall of ’03; dug in January, ‘04.

Tulip growth from multiple treatments of Monty’s Grow and Root/Bloom resulted in vigorous growth, healthy plants, and vibrant blooms.  Digging of the bulbs in June-July demonstrated the crumbly effect (ease of digging) from the treatments to the soil via the crop treatments in the spring.
