Monty’s welcomes Joe Koll to their sales team

Monty’s Plant Food Co., a leader in natural soil enhancement and plant fertility products, has hired Joe Koll as a Product Consultant and Sales Support Representative for portions of North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.

Koll earned a degree in general agriculture from North Dakota State University with a minor in crop and weed sciences. His experience includes working on a dairy farm as well as raising corn, soybeans, wheat and Simmental cattle on his family farm.

In addition to consulting with growers on Monty’s innovative plant and soil products, Joe’s new responsibilities include gathering yield data and educating growers on humic substances and the importance of soil health.

“The northern part of the United States is infamous for its cooler temperatures, a trait that affects a grower’s planting season,” said Dennis Stephens, President of Monty’s Plant Food. “As a product consultant and sales support representative for the Dakotas and Minnesota, Joe Koll is on hand to assist that region’s growers and to assure that a shorter growing season doesn’t mean lower yields.”
